What about Mike Gundy to LSU?

He's been at OSU for a long time now, and could probably use a change of scenery. I realize he's an alum but apparent him and T Boone don't get alone.
He's not even 50 yet, so he will still coach for a while.
I think he'd be a great hire in Baton Rouge.

He's done well at OSU and he takes them to a bowl every year.
I don't think the Tigers are landing any of the names I keep hearing them mention. I'm guessing they'll get someone like Gundy, Rich Rod, Todd Graham, etc.

They're going to be disappointed when Herman and Fisher tell them "thanks, but no thanks."
Going to be just like the UT coaching search. They'll end up with a solid hire but not the guy they wanted.

Have you actually watched football...say prior to 2005 when we hired Miles. OK State was not very good historically. Gund has taken it to heights it has never been. They were an afterthought school for many years and generally an easy out for whoever played them. Gundy has a very good offensive mind...and he's a man.....he's over 40!!!!!
If he showed up and wanted the job, It would be hard to argue his success or turn him down. LSU would be foolish not to look at him.

96-49 at OSU, pretty damn good. If LSU fans are sticking their noses up at Gundy they are setting themselves up to be severely disappointed when they are stuck with Ed Oregon.
