Well, can't wait to see who Orgeron settles for now.

I'm guessing this was not part of the binder. And some wonder why he was not offered a HC job.

I am glad Kiffin was hired...I say OC is hired by Friday now and all the chicken littles can just worry about our recruiting class

I was not a fan of Kiffin either but this whole OC search has all the earmarks of a clusterf**k.

During the Head Coaching search I would have been happy with either Herman or Jimbo. It appears neither were accessible so I understand the rational for hiring O- let him get the best coordinators and recruit the best talent.

So now I'd be happy with either Helfrich or Canada- I think either would be a dramatic improvement and could do great things.

If neither come then to me this (when combined with the recent misses in recruiting) lends a great deal of credence to the Anti-O crowd...

But in February if we have Aranda and either Helfrich or Canada, Brennan/Narcisse/De'Andre Johnson and 3-4 LBs committed I'll be moving back towards the pumpers camp.

everything after the Les firing feels the same. Joe screwed us. He needs to go.

If we lose more than 3 games next year, fire alleva!

Who is going to commit to LSU, if Bama still has an opening?

Here's my problem with Helfrich. O supposedly had this all outlined in the binder. Helfrich wasn't available, and likely wasn't even a possibility. So we're already off the rails of the binder.

What I worry about is O spoke to Kiffin and was like,
"Hey T-Kiff, so I'm da coach now. You ready to move down to Baton Rouge?"
"Wait, Ed, you were serious?"
"Well hell yeah I was serious, weren't you?"
"Well honestly I didn't think you had a shot in hell at getting the job. Sorry man."

Now that we are done playing second fiddle to Lane's head coaching search we can move on and play second fiddle to Bama's OC coaching search. This administration is beyond f#cked and is killing the program.

Is O settling? Yes he wanted Kiffin.
But with Briles, Sark, Helfrich, and Canada available, LSU is not! All are quality OC candidates. Since we are no longer waiting let's make a hire by Wednesday.
My preference is Art Briles.

Said it day one. This would be a difficult hire. What up and coming OC is going to want to come be mentored by the great Ed Orgeron.
