We won with Miles and Orgeron - and won’t with Kelly?

What’s the rationale there? He’s better than Napier and Kiffin for what LSU needs.

I mean with this logic you’re happy with any hire because those two coaches are bottom of the barrel

Happier with someone that’s done it already.

Kelly absolutely competes for national titles at LSU.

Would he blow me away? No. But he’s as steady as they come and LSU will make multiple CFP appearances under him.

Right now we’re 6-6 and getting blown out by Kentucky. Perspective is important. Yeah

Has anybody else consistently won at Notre Dame, which is one of the most difficult places to win in the country because they won’t play cupcakes and they still require academic integrity.

Lol, good luck with that. There are what 4 active coaches with a NC and two are Mack Brown and Jimbo who I’m sure you wouldn’t want now.

I hate that this is the standard. The whole well imagine what such and such coach could do with LSU talent! I am trying to imagine Kelly's offenses in the SEC and I am not feeling it, but to each their own.

ND has the 56th ranked offense in the country and they tend to have a pretty weak schedule.

Nice recent win over 3-9 Stanford. And Georgia Tech and Virginia.

Do they have a single win over a currently ranked team? Dude struggled to beat FSU.

It actually tends to fall in the top 20 SOS.

I can't believe some of you are making me defend Notre fricking Dame.

They play Stanford every year, even the years when Stanford was top five. There is nothing they can do about their ACC tie in opponents being awful. That would be like belittling LSU for beating Vandy. Notre Dame always has too 20 SOS and never played the likes of McNeese or ULM or UAB.

This coaching search is really bringing out some uninformed opinions.
