We can't miss this opportunity. It is not okay to fire a championship coach to promote a DL coach. Alleva will be the biggest moron on the planet, and it'll make me sick.

Like what? A dumpster fire of an administration and booster base and a depleted talent pool? Sure why not? We put more players in the NFL then any other school but I can see why Herman would rather go to UT for a reclamation project rather than come here and be challenging for the SECCG or NC possibly next year.

We could meet or exceed any offer from Texas, but if Herman would rather coach Texas, short of kidnapping the man, there isn't anything we can do about it.

TAF was prepared to eat untold millions last year to rid itself of Miles and bring in a 6mil coach.
Texas ended up with Charlie Strong. UT is a overrated shitshow right now. The fact that they are scrambling to get a late offer out to Herman as they fight internally over what to do about Strong tells you how fricked they are in Austin.

LSU is the better job right now.
The path to titles is easier at Texas right now. Only because no Saban and your hardest games are Oklahoma and TCU.
