WTF was your AD calling Les for then? To just chat it up? Your AD tried to gauge his interest and there was none so they moved on and discussed possible recommendations for the position.
I just think its funny that Arky fans don't believe that their AD reached out to Les and tried to offer him the job.

There is a difference between having a conversation and making an offer. I'm sure he wanted to gauge his interests. That does not mean Les was his number 1 target. It is my belief that the agent played this up to force your ad into giving les his raise and extension now instead of later.
