A lot of folks asking about Canada's offensive system, here are a few first half offensive drives versus Penn State earlier this year.

PSU @ Pitt

Fast Forward to 6:30 mark and watch until 14:00 min mark
(First and Second Drives, PSU fumbles on 2nd play of their possession.)

Skip to 24:15 mark to the 29:00 min mark (4th drive of the game)

Skip to 30:00 (5th drive right after another Penn State fumble)

Hopefully this will be helpful.

EDIT:
Added some more video with a little more of the passing game involved vs Va Tech (20th ranked D on S&P+)

Lot of passing to the TE and throws over the middle of the field.

Va Tech at Pitt

19:30 mark to 23:00 min mark

30:25 mark to 32:00 min

35:50 mark to 39:45

1:12:30 mark to 1:15:15 (A hurry up drive down late)

Pitt finished this game with 91 yards of passing offense.

Isn't this precisely what we're trying to avoid?

Except that this is a trend with Canada. He doesn't produce teams with prolific passing attacks.

If you want misdirection and theatrics before the play, then he's the guy.

But if you feel that LSU's lack of a passing offense has been the primary ailment of this program for the past 5+ years, then you would be foolish to consider Canada as the prescription.

A junk of passing completions comes from a gimmicky shovel or shuttle pass.

11/15 passing for 91 yards, 3 TDs, and 1 INT. They ran it 56 times for 341 yards and 3 TDs.

Seems like he was calling plays to his team's strength

I like the tempo a lot. I have no issue playing to a team's strengths.

How many passing TD's?

How many points did they score?

Did they line up in the I-form every play?

Why do you need to see a Texas tech offense to be satisfied?

Just like we've done against Bama for how long now?

The receivers look really involved in the run game. Lots of end around with a ton of motion.

He passed more in other games during the year, and it looks like that day he though they could run over PSU... he was right.

Well the difference there is that the run was working against Penn St. He wasn't bashing his head into a brick wall like we've done against Bama.

Against Clemson, the run game wasn't quite as effective (though still effective at 33 carries for 156 and 1 TD), so they threw the ball for 22/37, 308 yards and 5 TDs

They also finished with a win. Why are you so hung up on passing numbers? I want an offense that puts up points by any means necessary. Seems like he game planned to win, and did.
