I bet it eats at Nick that he was such a miserable failure in the NFL, and to see how well Pete Carroll is doing in his 2nd NFL go-round.
He's got everything and done everything at Bama. His next step will be the NFL or retirement from Bama after 2 or 3 more seasons IMO.

Not sure if posting links to Tidefans is kosher, but there's an interesting thread over there. Started out the other day as "Saban is close to signing an extension." Today there's been a change, starting with a post by one of their admins that he's not as confident in that happening. They are getting nervous.

It sounds like he all he knows is that an extension hasn't been signed like all the gumps thought it was. Which isn't really insider info because at the minimum there would have been a press release if extension deal had been struck.
