So the ultimate jock sniffing bama gump Finebomb said on CFL today that when Kiffin leaves this year that Sark is not in Saban's plans going forward. And as everyone knows he is connected in gumpville so I would say his info is probably correct.

Could get interesting. I am not saying I want him at LSU, just bringing info I heard to the board.

This has been pretty much reported by everyone at this point. It'll be interesting to see who Saban goes after. We know he won't have an AD and President handcuffing him so I'm sure it'll be a textbook hire.

If he is not in Saban's plans going forward then to me that means he fell off the proverbial process wagon with his addiction. I would think Saban would at least keep an offensive mind like Sark on his shadow staff if he was on the straight and narrow. IMO

Saban already tried Applewhite as OC a few years back. Got rid of him after only one year. You really think Saban now wants him back?

Saban going after Ensminger......

On a side note, my iPad always wants to autocorrect Saban to Satan.

He shouldn't be in ours either.

He and Orgeron say he's not interesting in that position. We'll see but the fact that he is planning to go back to TE coach indicates he isn't trying to move up but just finish out his career in a relatively low profile coaching position. A sunset job, if you will.

As has been stated by numerous bama ranters in previous threads, Sark is rumored to have fallen off the wagon, after the SECCG apparently.

Was there ever any confirmation that was the plan to begin with?

Saban has Mike Locksley and other head coaching failures/retreads lurking around over there. Perhaps it was just an assumption that Sark was in line to take over.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Kevin Wilson as the latest addition.

Well, aren't we all, if we're honest with ourselves.

BAMA may hire from within, either Napier, Locksley, or Sark should these rumors prove false or he goes outside the staff and hires Tee Martin. I doubt seriously that he would bring back Major Applewhite.

He probably knows - because if Saban ever stopped suddenly, Finebaum would perform an unanticipated colonoscopy on him.
