I won't believe that it's Kiffin until the official announcement. I don't have any personal knowledge, but Houston has done a really good job of hiring rising star coaches in the past. Kiffin is a three-time loser as a head coach.
I like him as OC and hope LSU hires him, but he wouldn't be in my top 50 as a head coach.

Lane is not anywhere close to my preferred OC. I just do not think his personality is healthy for the team.
