This is you isn't it? Just admit it. This is you.

I'd hate to have to push you over in your rascal. The floor doesn't deserve that kind of abuse and someone else might slip and fall in the Kentucky Fried Chicken grease left over from your fat arse being on the floor.

Gameday operating expenses aren’t quite so sizable, but most top teams are typically in the $4 million to $8 million range

I dont think this is what you think it is.

You got me. The weight of all these championships I get to enjoy has caused me to slip on my diet. I only weigh 175 pounds and at 5'11" I'm in danger of having a heart attack.

Thanks for attempting to fat shame me. You win the Internet for today.

You would think that.

I stated that going to a national championship makes money for a school. You posted some stupid numbers about money made and money spent by LSU and Bama. That had NOTHING to do with whether or not a school makes money by going to a national championship.

I think you might need to pick up a copy of this game.

Posting facts from articles is tough for some of you to comprehend, isn't it?

Not a melt, you're the one making an arse of yourself, because you can't stand LSU being higher ranked than BAMA on anything.

Hey faggy, you're wrong. Football and men's basketball (sometimes) are the only money-makers in college sports.

No, you are wrong. LSU for example makes a profit on baseball.

They are going to throw $5 million per at Herman and give him a huge pool of money to put together his staff.

$5 million?!? That isn't even close to enough. UH will match $5 million without blinking. Hell Charlie Strong got $5 million out the gate YEARS ago and Texas didn't have a UH like program with a billionaire backing them.

I would expect more like $7-8 million for WHOEVER gets Herman at least.

Hey idiot, there are only a handful of college baseball teams that make a profit. There are just a few women's basketball teams that make a profit.

OK?

Why are you making an arse of yourself on here? Nervous and pissed off that you're stuck with Sumlin?

It will be 5+ but I dont see him getting anywhere near 8. Sorry but no one deserves 1 million more than Saban

And a billionaire backing them isnt going to change much for the salary. If that was the case, these coaches would all be making 10+ million per year

Tell that to Auburn, Oregon and Florida State:

Auburn Reports Losing More Than $600,000 From BCS Championship Game Trip

quote:

A nine-day trip to Glendale, Ariz., cost Auburn $2,901,706 after it received an SEC expense-allowance of $2,287,600. Oregon reported having a final deficit of $285,437 from its Pac-10 allowance of $2,263,295 over 10 days.

Florida State Seminoles Lost $481K on Title Game Trip

quote:

Florida State reported expenses of $2,820,613 -- nearly half of which came from transportation costs -- which exceeded the revenue generated from its BCS appearance by a total of $481,213.

Now. Tell me again how stupid I am because you have nothing else to say.

If spending less money causes L5U to finally be ranked higher than Alabama, and you guys celebrate it, I think that shows just how far L5U has fallen.

Think about it. You are celebrating making a bigger profit than Alabama based off revenue when Alabama earned $11 million more and spent $23 million more than L5U.

That's just fricking sad right there.

A coach deserves what he can get. This whole logic of "a coach doesn't deserve X until he wins a title" is nonsense. What matters is leverage, not success.

The only reason we don't have a $10+ million plus coach today is because most programs don't want to be the "bad guy" for raising all coach salaries too high too fast.

UH is in a "I don't give a frick what you think we want a Big 12 invite dammit" mode so I could see them doing something irresponsible like that if they can.

But you said only football and basketball makes a profit.

You are just arguing for the sake of argument.

Jerk off or something, dude. You're stuck with Sumlin. Herman's not coming to College Station.

I never said until he wins a title. But no coach in the college game is going into a school and saying I want 1 million more than Saban. Wont happen.

We are talking about billionaires behind the money here. You think they care about being the bad guy? LOL. They didnt become billionaires, for the most part, by being like that.

UH needs an invite but that is definitely not the way to get it. Big 12 I dont think wants them

No, but Herman might say "Penn St. is willing to make it $6 million so are you going to pay me $7?"

What Saban makes is irrelevant. He could demand $10 tomorrow and get it if he had other suitors.

Often the billionaires don't make the final decision, the presidents do and they are a conservative bunch.

UH is in rare form with how desperate they are acting.

The way to get it is to allow Texas to build a campus in Houston like they want to do.
