All of the Texas bigwigs are in panic mode; Herman hasn't signed anything yet leaked that it's close. If he doesn't end up at LSU, Alleva is going to have egg on his face.

The problem now is that Texas will come hard to the paint to prevent Herman from signing with us. If Texas money-whips him hard enough, we'll have to pay even more to secure him.

If UT did leak this, it's out of desperation. It could easily close the door on any hope they have left if he knows for certain they did it.

I guess I can understand your logic. But it somehow it was leaked that a deal was close and LSU was zeroing in, etc., thus forcing Texas' hand. So like it or not, if LSU doesn't get him now, we're going to look really dumb... especially if we don't get Jimbo either. That being said, I'm sticking w/ Jimbo.

IT's not UT is a subgroup of UT booster that want to over rule the administration or if not then at least embarrass them. I'm starting to see why Herman choose us over them.
