I'm sure y'all heard by now that WMU has Wisconsin in the cotton bowl. I am anxious to watch this game to see how his team handles that defense.

Also, if WMU wins, how much higher will his stock go? I'm thinking he'll be the hottest name on any Power 5 coaching searches list. I just wanted other fans of his' opinions.

This is a very intriguing matchup. He wins this game he's likely looking at over 5 mil a year from Oregon.

Dream scenario: LSU will fire Orgeron after one year and Alleva gets fired as well. The new AD brings in Fleck and Aranda agrees to extension.

And....

BOOOOOOM!!

I've got a better one. LSU unifies under CEO and the team comes out swinging. We secure a top 3 class this year, hire a great OC and win some games next year.

Those of you hoping LSU crashes and burns just because we hired O need to go jump on another team to pull for.

But I would like to win a LOT of games.

The fact that you said this instead of "wins 11 or 12 games next year" speaks volumes about your true expectations.

Way to set that bar low for O.

Our expectations for the program are higher than that, maybe if there were less people like you the administration might have actually done a search instead of this bargain bin hire that Alleva came up with.

It's going to break Fleck's heart not to coach that game, but I seriously doubt the Nike overlords would want him screwing around with Western when he needs to get to work at Oregon.

Ok clown. Go ahead and route for LSU to fail next year so we can being in a douchebag who coaches at a glorified community college.

This is my preference, but I'm pessimistic.

O's 55 years old. Short of being a total disaster, O only has 10 years in him, total. Aside from a total collapse, the "worst case" is a Mark Richt era of perpetual 9-3 seasons; even that should sustain LSU's recruiting, however, giving them a chance to take control of the SEC West when Saban retires.
