You didn't dread going into 1999? Or you can't remember back that far?

knowing lsu's bullshite, he is wrong, they will most likely promote BG and then Leslie will find someone to take wideout position job, just boggles me why we rush into hiring so fast instead of looking whats out there! BG can interview for the job, just cause your OC gets fired doesn't mean you deserve the promotion, yet.

I did and I felt like this fall would be similar unless Crowton was canned. Now, it looks like one of my prayers will be granted. Hopefully my other request will be fulfilled tonight. Then it'll be off to Calcutta for me to feed the poor.

Well if we do promote Gonzales and it doesn't work out and leads to another poor-performing year, we'll probably be getting a new head coach and Gonzales would be gone anyway.

I'm not totally opposed to Gonzales as OC, but I'd prefer someone more proven.

This is the same way I feel about If/when LSU were to ever need a new Head Corch.

Unless BG was brought in as a WR Coach knowing what was going to happen and he interviewed for it a few weeks ago and we brought him in like this to keep someone else from getting him and to give Crowton time to find something else?

That was the rumor when Gonzo was hired - it makes very, very good sense.

IM not sure in the long run if this is a "Great Thing or not". Yes Crouton and Stud should go IMO but its clear that the inmates are now running the Asylum at LSU and not Miles and that only bolsters the argument for his departure. I hope it works out.

so who do we hire, Jagazinski? We need to find out who the best Pro Style OC is based on the past few years and hire him. I don't care for the spread. Doesn't mean we can't put these plays in everyone once in a while like Bama does, but I want an offense that runs the ball and then uses play action to throw the ball.

is this a racial slur? i don't think the "inmates" are running the asylum, but are players are little lost in the dark without our Head Coach with a flashlight showing them the way
