He could have waited. He wanted to get out in front, to make it look like he had his guy all along

Alleva is too emotionally invested to be the head of something as big as LSU sports, Its why he disbanded Duke Lacrosse before the facts were all in. Punish everyone, so that I can sleep better at night, mentality

He could have hired O at anytime

I seriously look at Alleva as a complete dumbass now. When I see his face I just cringe. I was like 4 feet away from him earlier in the year and should have grabbed him by his ears and told him to get the frick out of Baton Rouge. Worst thing to happen to LSU athletics in a looooong time.

Alleva couldn't cut it as a middle school AD. What a tard. Our athletics will stay in the shitter as long as he's here

He really does seem to be irrationally emotional.

He is a cuck. Any agent or smart HC would smell it on 5 seconds. He was outsmarted by or geronimo and ponamsky. ..let that sink in.

You have to pay to play.

And here we are.

There was no reason to rush this hire

Orgeron wasn't going anywhere, and once Jimbo and Herman were officially off the table, who knows which coach would have dialed up LSU?

It was purely on Alleva trying to one up Texas.. Way too emotional

Even Les friggin miles played him like a fiddle, that tells you all you need to know about how good Alleva is at his job.

How much did the players affection for O play into this decision?

They love O. They'll run through a wall for them. They'll also lose games for him and get blamed for it. They stand by him, and vice versa.

This was the same under Miles, even down to the end last year when their love for him saved his arse from Ser Ilyn Payne's clutches of death. Charlie Strong's players also loved his arse even til the end, that didn't mean shite.

So Alleva and the BOS sees snapchats and instagram posts post game and that seals the decision for them?

what a ridiculousluly emotional decision.

Seems to be a common theme by the LSU posters lately, especially today.

And he had a long time, to put a legit list together. I thought/hoped things changed, after the florida loss, but no. It is what it is now, all we can do is hope it works out.
