Get O at $3m and pay Kiffin and Aranda $2m each and you get all three for the price of 1 Jimbo, plus you force all other schools to either go at Kiffin and Aranda as head coaches only since they are the highest paid assistants in the country. Beginning to warm to the idea.

And when they do, then what?

Then you go after the next best assistants and bring them in at $2m, duh

You can also buy a Kia cheaper than you can a Mercedes. You can get numerous kias to one Mercedes for the price. Does that mean you want to though?

Yep, and you have the two best in the country on your team with full control of their piece. So what's the argument?

Aranda is not going to stay. Get that through your skulls. Elite OC'a are not going to come here to coach for O. And he's not going to be this all world recruiter as a head coach

Would you go to Texas for 1.2 or stay at LSU for 2?

Even without Kiffin, I like this idea. Any great OC will do.

Texas can find an extra 800,000 if they want. But they probably won't even have to. It's going to be one very clear that Orgeron has no idea what he's doing long term.

Plus why would Aranda want to work under a guy who was under him like two months ago, is dumber than him, and barely has a better resume than him?

Why would they be revolving any more than they would at less pay. I think you are the one who needs to think about it. You don't work for a head coach. You work for money.
