...for O lies in the next few games. If the team doesn't tank and finishes strong he proves himself. This will be the real test of his coaching ability not beating Bama.

That there was ever a test in the first place was ridiculous. He is nowhere near the top of the list of available coaches so why even consider him? I'd take Les Miles back before I would consider Ed O.

Who thinks Les would have beaten the teams O did? I certainly do the putrid defenses of Mizzou, Ole Miss and SoMiss, LSU would have won. You are right, except what do we really know about Arky, UF and TAMU? How does this team respond?
It is the OLINE and QB play. LSU will out physical the rest of the teams on the schedule. We got 5 first downs..

Typical blind O supporter ignore his losses and hope for better going forward. Our offensive scheme, playcalling, and execution was horid last night. We didn't get a SINGLE point. That's pathetic. It's not just about the loss it's the fact that we had two weeks to prep and O/Ensminger couldn't figure out a way to score a fricking point. Its ridiculous and you are too for ignoring all of this.

Here comes the narrative shift. After a loss to Arkansas or Texas a&m it'll go from "only needing to beat bama" to "only needing to beat everyone else" to "well 2 losses in november isn't so bad"

Not ignoring it. We lost due to the OL. That continues to be THE biggest difference. I looked at Bamas recruiting classes fir the last few years. They got all the top OL, DL and LB. O has helped beef up the DL and it showed last night. We need to step it up with the rest.

Of the teams that have beaten Alabama the last several years how many of them had big powerful offensive lines that were able to outman Alabama's front? And how many of them had diverse offenses that were able to create matchup problems in space and out scheme them?

I'll wait for your answer.

I agree. The offense can't be changed mid season. Adjustments and different play calling can be done but you can't go to a different identity mid season.

The problem is this - O is not an offensive guy or an X's and O's from what I've read. He wants to stick with a pro style offense. So that means we will live and die by his coordinator hire/hires and be expecting LA recruits to come in and take forever to learn a pro style system. How do you invision this working out?

We didn't score a single point. We didn't score a single point. We didn't score a single point.

There i said it three times so maybe it will sink in to your brain. Kent State put up more offense than we did. Oh i forgot them and Western Kentucky (put up 10) must have way better o linemen than us.

I mean you saying we lost due to the o line is such a complete and utter bullshite excuse to cover up the fact O and Ensminger had 2 weeks to get something going against them and couldn't muster more offense than Western Kentucky or Kent State.

same as USC, LSU would love to retain coach O as a position coach and a recruiting coordinator but wouldn't take him as a permanent head coach. No insider source but almost certain that this will act out. There is no other way around it.

You've got your head so far up O's arse you're tasting the jambalaya he cooked this afternoon.

It'll taste even better about this time next Saturday

Hey how's it tasting now??? I guess you're one of those people who are so far down the O rabbit hole you can't admit you were wrong.

Coach 0 is a fitting name for him because he will be remembered for the fact he couldn't muster a single point against Bama.

Why was I wrong? He lost to Bama. The real test for O was never Bama . It's the rest of the west and UF. Let's see how he coaches the rest of the year before we either anoint or trash him.
