LSU goes only as far as this offense can adapt to modern football.

we will have players...

Coaching and scheme are the difference...

I feel good about the defense..

I feel O will recruit well and demand energy and excellence

but O needs the OC to be right like he needs oxygen...

Fresh topic. I can't believe it took someone so long to come up with this thought and post it here!

Let it go bro. It's not worth it anymore. You need to accept what is coming in the future. LSU is not sniffing any playoffs as long as Alleva is AD and Coach O is HC.

The sad thing is this. I don't think LSU needs an elite OC to be a contender. They just need an above average on with as good as our d usually is.

Unfortunately I don't trust this administratiin to make an average hire.

LOL. some of you people are retards I swear. Coach o and his legacy at lsu will hinge on how well he recruits, how many games he wins and loses, how many championships he contends for/wins, and how many times he beats alabama. That's what orgerons legacy at lsu will hinge on.

With the amount of money lsu is spending on his coordinators/staff, orgeron will hire a top flight oc. Whether or not it's kiffin, I have no idea, but there are plenty of other great ocs out there and one of them will be coaching for lsu next year. Orgeron is a cool coach to work for and play for as well. He will assemble a top notch staff. Take that to the bank.

While true, think about how absurd this is.

A HC whose success is contingent on the right coordinator hire shouldn't be the HC.
