Labr4 Greg ward jr is a qb buddy

Didn't they convert him from a WR though?

Should have been 23/25. Easy catch was dropped.

Great numbers. Too bad Herman didn't recruit him.

Hopefully it's not a Brent Farve - Curley Hallman situation.

Hilarious. Did they beat FSU and Oklahoma in back to back games?

Well I hope you're not serious because although TH didn't recruit Ward, he did convert him from a WR to a QB.
Quite successfully I might add.

True. He didn't recruit Greg Ward. He did something more impressive, imo.
He looked at his team and said "these quarterbacks aren't good enough" so he took another guy and taught him how to succeed at the position. That is extremely impressive to me.

You're another one. Yeah he didn't recruit him, but he did pluck JT Barrett from Texas. He got him as a junior, Barrett tore his acl as a senior, and as a redshirt freshman at Ohio St, he destroyed Big 10 and Ohio State records in only 12 games.
Now he took a guy who was decent in the previous scheme, and made him a human highlight reel in one year. This year he is getting way more work on his passing (27.58 att per game in 2015 to 35 attempts per game in 2016).
Doesn't matter if he recruited them or not, this guy knows what he's doing.

Hopefully this isn't a Curly Hallman/ Brett Farve thing......
Nah...it's not

Not really, Ward was already the starting QB the year before Herman got to Houston

Is that not what we would want? I mean if he's our head coach next year, technically he didn't recruit any of our players (he may have but we are a superior school so of course we would get those guys)
