His firing has been imminent and is a no-brainer. 16-20 warrants it. His biggest obstacle was the Mack Brown Factor, much like the next LSU coach will be challenged by the impact of the Miles Factor.

Based on recent Longhorn game results, especially the loss to Kansas, this is not surprising and there is a good chance it has been in the works for some time.

Just wonder if he will finish this season.
