Nobody will touch Tennesse with a ten foot pole. It has gone from laughable as a UGA fan to the point where I feel sorry for them.

I don't think it is "black balled" because of that. I do think coaches feel less comfortable based upon that silliness.

But, I will stand on principle for YOU only until it requires me to turn down a job I WANT and that pays me 5+ million dollars per year. I ain't blackballing anyone just to show solidarity at THAT cost.

This is exactly the problem, their slackjawed fans along with Clay Travis ruined Schiano and his future. Anyone who take it now will have this in the back of their mind.

Can't "black ball" multi million dollar contracts. Think the deal here is that coaches are sketchy about Currie as the AD

I don't feel sorry for them and said before the coaching search that the University of Tennessee, isn't what it used to be.

It’s got to be hard to get a coach now. You want the same deal Gundy was going to be offered and you have to know the AD who hired you won’t be there long to protect you. Contract better have a big buyout for me to consider.

They should just hire Tee Martin and get it over with.

It amounts to the same thing....the coaches don't want to come to a place that will do what UT did to Schiano which is basically back out on an agreement due to fan backlash on social media...I mean come on.

great post. coaches aren't that connected and for 5 mil/yr and a 30 mil dollar contract most coaches are going to say "frick off pal, i'm headin' to rocky top."
