This isn't their year because they don't have the O-line and their defense is not as good as usual.
But he did win 29 games in a row and had consecutive undefeated regular seasons. He's also 8-1 against the SEC including 2-0 in bowls (one being the national title when he went 14-0). He may not be everyone's choice, but let's not act like he's a piece of shite coach.

He hasn't had a losing season in or out of conference as HC. He has 3 acc titles and a NC. You're not very bright are you mr. Troll?

LSU would be LUCKY to pull Fisher, the rest of the college football world would consider it a coup of epic proportions, yet a portion of our fanbase would be disappointed he got the job over Orgeron. Unbelievable.
You know, I've alway wondered why LSU was never elite before the 2000s (of course we know it was committing resources to the program now), but seeing the mentality of some of our fans it makes perfect sense.

It's a losing battle. They'll rationalize for O no matter what, even though it makes absolutely no sense.
Only hope is that alleva is smart enough to make a better hire..so we're probably boned.
