Sterlin Gilbert / Lane Kiffin

WHAT IF now...
We bring on Sterlin Gilbert to be QB Coach (or just be on the staff somewhere) and let Lane Kiffin run the offense as planned. I understand that most OCs are also QB coaches and they would likely but heads and it could be catastrophic.
BUT we would then place Gilbert in a "Offensive coordinator in waiting" position! For when Kiffin up and leaves next year or the year after.

We'd have to fire Grimes and another offensive coach or move one to special teams coordinator. Gilbert will only go somewhere that his o-line guy can go too.
