I just want to say that its a new day at Michigan and we are going to win. This school means alot to me. I played here for Bo, who was like my father as much as a coach can be. I coached here and am definitely a Michigan man. I'd like to thank President Coleman, who was very professional through all this and supported the goal of building this program into the number one program in not just the Big Ten, but in the country. My wife and kids, as you can tell, are thrilled to be here. I'm happy to be home and looking forward to beating Ohio State...again.

I had some very good years at LSU. There are great people down there and I love my players I had there. They worked very hard and were some of the finest young men I've ever een around. I will miss them very much and am thankful I was able to coach them. As I said, its a new day at Michigan and I'm ready to bring the national championship to Ann Arbor. Thank you and good day.
