Richt is a solid coach. Today's game is too fire happy. UGA reminded me of LSU in 08. Poor QB play and a weak defense. That can be fixed. Teams have down years. Even good ones.

BAMA has benefited from several teams - LSU, Auburn and Tennessee being down the past two years. If Saban stays 2 or 3 more years, they'll have a few 9-4 , 8-5 years.

Saban is a hell of a recruiter but Miles isn't a slouch either. He's just not as good at the X's and O's and needs good coordinators.

Richt's arse is grarse after this coming season. The local fans are finally realizing their program is putting players in the NFL like any other top program & they have nothing to show for it. The only two times UGAy won the SECC the rest of the SEC were in some type of turmoil & neither of those SECCs meant anything bc they never sniffed the field of a BCSCG. A national poll by ESPN revealed UGAy's symbolic "G" when shown to kids in the midwest, west, northwest & north revealed few of them were able to recognize it as being UGAy. Now with Saban next door & GaTech up... forget about it.

He's starting to look like the fat girl who can't get a date to the prom.

Oh really? What about in 07 when we had the exact same overall and conference record as LSU? I think that kinda put us in the "conversation"...it was just a tough break that we lost the tie-breaker to Tennessee because we wet the bed in Knoxville and they pulled the game against Kentucky the week before the SECCG out of their arse

and the '02 team lost a 7 point game to Florida for their only loss only to have Miami/tOSU both go undefeated. One loss usually gets you in the MNC (since we all know that LSU didnt have an undefeated season in either of their championship years)

and, fwiw, Richt has the 4th highest winning percentage in the country only behind Meyer, Carrol, and Stoops...he's a model of consistency(with the obvious exception to this year) and the administration at Georgia would be fools to think that firing Richt would spring the program to the top....Richt will get us there

Dude - I couldn't care less if Richt were your coach or not and the folks putting him in the hot seat are the Bulldogs not me. In today's college football - perception sometimes blinds folks to reality. Richt might or might not be a good/great coach - that is irrelevant to those demanding his head because of lack of Titles.

When you look up records in the future you wont see the * next to 02 / 07 and other years to show how georgia fared!.

It would show a period of SEC dominance and Richt unable to get an NC.
