Some of y'all are melting so hard you won't be able to enjoy it if he does a great job. The correct reaction is "well, let's see how it goes." Yea sure I wanted Herman or Jimbo...but not to the point I wish failure on the coach they hired.

I fear there won't be enough crow to go around if O does well at LSU.

I'd rather eat crow than eat shite.

I'll be very happy if O turns out to succeed in a big way.

We should fire him because he does not match what the insiders claimed.

Hope he does. Don't think he will, but what the hell. It'd be a good story.

First, he won't be successful in an elite program type way. There's 0 chance that happens. O has no shot at a national championship.

So if success is 8-9 win seasons, then yeah that's the best he can do. And he can be considered successful.

Second, it's going to be 3 years before we know if this is a success or failure. This is a disaster imo, but he probably wins 8 games next year. Probably 8 the year after. I think by year 3 we start trending down.

I'm melting simply because it's sad that we couldn't do better, he was not their first choice, they settled for him.

He's a great guy and will do the program proud as far as being the face that runs the place.

Can't deny it'll make a great story if he's successful. I'm rooting for him pretty hard...then again we all should be.

If he does have 1 good year, he can't sustain it because he will always need people smarter than him to do the job.

1 bad hire and he could have a losing record. That's how thin the margin for error is with him as coach.

I'm pulling for him. I still have my doubts, but this is what we have. I'd love nothing more than for him to prove me and the haters wrong.

CEO won't fall flat on his face like most think. He will win 8-9 games a year and lose 2-3 SEC games each year.

I want him to succeed.

After the Miles fiasco last year, the basketball fiasco, then firing Miles and not getting "your coach", whoever that was... Alleva needs to be fired.
