According to the Advocate article:

quote:

Starting last Sunday, all eyes shifted to Herman, a man who fit the mold in which leaders were after – a young, up-and-coming offensive-minded coach. While multiple reports about Fisher’s candidacy broke Wednesday night, decision-makers were focused on Herman.

“The media was barking up the wrong tree,” one source said.

“All a smokescreen,” said another.

His agent trying to get him more. He wasn't leaving. Even Saban wouldn't have left LSU if not for the NFL gig.

It was always supposed to be Jimbo, I can't believe that I actually thought this fricked up administration would actually pull through, fricking shame on me.

Orgeron “blew away” decision-makers during an interview Friday, when he arrived equipped with two thick binders detailing his long-term plan for the program. He left that meeting feeling as if he would finish second to Herman.

damn there were two binders

The smoke screen was Nick Saban and Fisher and Herman being scared to compete in same division as him. So they can both eat a dick

New coach, new philosophy. Get o with it and lets freaking go. If he fails then we'll move on.

So , we took Herman's word that he wasn't interested in texas and then his agent leaked the discussions to media to get texas to hurry up with an offer? So thanksgiving night we knew this? Yet we still went full speed ahead all day Friday just hoping he was being truthful and had no backup plan in case he ended up negotiating with texas? O was the backup plan? That's it??

Jesus, this search really did just consist of 3 fricking coaches. More likely only 2. We really need to clean house. Reading that really hits hard that we have buffoons running the show

My favorite part was Alleva cancelling the face to face meeting and calling off all negotiations when Herman mentioned Texas

What a fricking loser
