He played at Stanford under Bill Walsh, after Walsh coached numerous Super Bowl teams with the 49ers. He has studied under the best West Coast mind.

He transferred to Nebraska and knows all about pounding the ball and the importance of dominating the trenches. He learned under Tom Osbourne.

Played in the Pros as a DB and Special Teamer in addition to his QB play. Guy has played all over the field at the highest level.

Has been with Oregon since 2009 and was influential in developing Heisman QB Marcus Mariotta. Guy knows everything from dominate triple option, west coast and spread attack.

This is the guy LSU needs.

Keep Frank on as Recruiting Coord and bump to Off Coord. Bump Bebe to D Coord. Boom now he can recruit LA.

The real question is he where else can Scott recruit? Perhaps he will give us big time headway into the West Coast.

Josh doesn't have experience playing under two legendary head coaches in college. He also didn't play QB, DB and Special Teams in the Pros. He also wasn't instrumental in developing and coaching a Heisman QB in college.

Josh is a great Pro coach, but Frost could be an elite college level coach.

LSU isn't for first time HCs. Last time a guy was a first time HC at a top 15 program? Will fricking muschamp at Florida. Tell me how that went. And everyone was sure he was a guaranteed great HC when he was HCIW at Texas. Didn't go as planned at Florida

From the look of that pic, between him and coach O we could say our coaches can beat up your coaches.

Is it going well for Oregon? Worst ranking and season in at least 7 years if not longer. And both Oregon and Fl St have one thing in common: hiring HCs from the staff of the previous HC, leaving everything else in place, and continuing the program. Jimbo ramped up recruiting, but not a lot else changed there. Nothing has changed in Oregon. LSU doesn't have a future HC like that at coordinator.

You can't expect to hire a first time HC at a top 15 program that was a coordinator at a different program and expect him to do well. They either need HC experience or heavy previous involvement in the same program to make up lack of HC experience

They are talking about how you don't know shite.....

Also I believe Oregon is in the running to win their division. Not bad the year after losing their Heisman QB. And two years from their best head coach ever. Also last year they played in the title game.

Not going to be the head coach. He could possibly be involved for OC search.
