esp now that LSU is making a full court press with online sources trying to say Miles is staying

should miles have just done waht EVERY other coach does, like saban did, and say, "i'm not going anywhere?"

or should miles have gotten scared like he did, and not talked about the situation at all, while negotiating the entire time?

Saban left during a good but not great season and waited to hire his staff.

Leslie is leaving after destroying LSU's chances for a MNC... TWICE. He's also pulling this stunt during a preparations for the SECCG. frick The Hat

Miles handled it way better. He never blatantly lied about going, and he did all he could to keep the talk about the team/upcoming games. You can't blame the guy for talking contract in secret when to not do so could cost him his dream job.

Miles is still worse. Saban lied like any other NFL head coach would. Miles on the other hand was too busy playing the nice guy card and still screwed LSU.

If Les leaves, I don't think we should pay him the money he is set to earn today. He obviously has been out contacting Tenuta and Michigan instead of coaching this team up for the SECCG. frick him. He didn't earn his paycheck.

If Miles stays after all this drama he put LSU through, it would be tough for players and fans to even respect him. He should be out whether Michigan hires him or not.

Nothing can be worse than how Saban handled it, but you have to admit, this leaking out prior to the SECCG is pretty damn bad.

That being said, Spurrier looks good in Purple and Gold.

Miles, no question. Saban didn't negotiate until after the regular season, during the bowl layoff. Yes it broke our hearts that he announced near christmas and left so late it hurt recruiting but Miles' is way worse

Miles negotiated a contract and hired a coordinator DURING THE REGULAR SEASON and right before the biggest game of the year (SECCG). It quite possibly led to losing the Ark. game and maybe the SEC title b/c of these distrations. Les could have waited until after this game, then taken care of business....guess he couldn't wait.

I've been waiting for him to leave for 3 years, so I'm prett happy though.

"He never blatantly lied"

Yeah....I guess blatantly makes the difference in the lie.

The drama seems mostly self-inflicted (self=retartd fans)

I respect him, and I'd imagine the players do as well.

You fricking wishy washy people make me want to puke...................what do you want Miles to do? It is a no win situation........if he says what he says, you people bitch because he isn't focused........if he says "I am leaving", you people would have crucified him for distracting from the SECCG.

In this situation, with all the circumstances surrounding LSU and Les Miles, it is impossible to handle it in a matter that will make everyone happy.

Is it too much to ask him to do the job we're paying him for and then go out and contact Tenuta AFTER the fricking game?

Miles handled the LSU situation worse than Saban.

Nothing is worse than what Saban did with the Dolphins
