That's nice and all but it's much different when your nuts and $7mil/yr are on the line. I don't see how anyone in today's college football climate would put up with interfering boosters or ex coaches. Especially when we all can afford to pay what Texas is going to pay.

That's what concerns me. Miles was fired back in September. Why is an offer just now being made? It should have been targeted and made. Is this another expected Aleva cluster or a clever smoke screen? Now I'm worried. If Aleva brings a homerun , I'll be the first to say I was wrong and congratulations. If he has screwed it up, he needs to follow in Miles' footsteps.

Why do you think any of this matters? I hate Texas as much as anyone but Strong was a square peg in a round hole in Austin. Herman would have them in the top 10 within 2 seasons.
