Absolutely the frick not. Hangs his hat on being the architect of the modern day spread but it's not 2006 anymore and he hasn't adapted. Mediocre job at Arizona that culminated with some type of sexual assault accusations. That hire leaves the fanbase even more apatethic.

Norvell should be the number one target

frick that. RR sucks arse. We will not make a hire from inside the program. The fansbase and boosters would riot worse than 62.

I would take McIntyre over Rich Rod.

Rich Rod’s offense was extremely frustrating to watch. It was big play or bust.

I always wondered how his coaching career would have been if Tulane offered him HC job back when...maybe he would have had better luck with future jobs. He never recovered from that Michigan debacle...

It's supposedly $17 mil for the whole staff but it's being stated that they already have the money pledged

Wow. That’s a lot of $$$$. Ole Miss isn’t messing around.

I believe it would've been more expensive to keep them from a lost revenue perspective and then having to buyout next year. Plus it would've made it harder for the program to recover. A lot of rumors about players transferring out.

I would not want RichRod, if I was an Ole Miss fan.

Attendance was way down. They had to do something.

Yep, he can't play LSU's defense every week.

He was a game away from playing a national title at WVU after getting passed over a TU. How cfb would have changed if he took the Bama job is a bigger question?

I was pissed Alleva didn't interview MacIntyre (I did hear through TAF he did reach out to him though) during LSU's coaching search.

Surprised Arkansas didn't look at him hard, back during Morris hire and now.

I will say this... and I hate saying it, but as much as it disgusts me it is true: We (LSU) should hire Luke as a OL shadow staff consultant. Dude knows his OL, scheming and technique. And he is a really good teacher and is a 'players coach', which has value even as an QC guy.

Most all of Ole Miss fandom with half a brain wanted him fired as our O line coach because he was not good at that, either.
