And before the Cap One bowl there was a rumor going around that it was a "done deal" with Spurrier?

i heard the rumor that spurrier wanted to come to LSU but because he hadn't coached a game at USC yet that he couldn't break his contract or something to that effect.

Yeah I think it is much more realisitc this time that he comes. Hopefully he realizes he will never win anything at South Carolina.

Timing was off the first time. Kind of like what MIGHT have happened with Michigan had Miles not screwed the pooch on the NC thing.
