Rumors abound but word is that Guy Blanchard interviewed for the Redemptorist job on Monday. Well lets see ... Sid Edwards said No! David Brewerton said No! The other five said NO! Well Guy Blanchard is probably the only one dumb enough to take it, he could turn a proud Redemptorist tradition into the yearly 5-5 team he has at Port Allen. Not sure if they offered the job to "The V-twins" at St. Michael but I am sure they are not stupid enough to take it. Can't wait to see who is now the "Front Runner" for the job.

I hope the recruiting ------'s never get one. They win with kids that should be at Capitol, Glen Oaks, Central etc.... and they do it with great character kids ... Good to see Redemptorist and the "Old Regime" struggling. Now they can see how the rest of the coaching world lives.

Yea, those coaches are gone now, however the school still holds the image. Maybe we should direct that same frustation to the school those coaches went too...

If that's true sounds like a good idea to me. Blanchard is a good choice. Who else is out there that would do as good of job?

The "V's" from that other catholic school would be a good choice.

Why is Sid always applying for coaching jobs? Didn't he want the Istrouma job? Maybe he's holding out for Redemptorist to make a better offer.. or maybe not

Sid's waiting for daddy Dale Weiner to step down so he can make a homecoming last coaching call at Catholic.
