Has anyone found an interview or article on the reasoning behind this? It's interesting and he seems to do it quite a bit. Any idea what kind of advantage you would gain by flipping your tackles/guards pre snap?

It's all deception. It's just another way to get the defenses wondering wtf is about to happen.

It makes defensive linemen and linebackers focus on where the o linemen are as opposed to the shifts of backs, WRs, where a QB is looking, and even the splits of the o linemen

The more a defense has to think about presnap then the greater the advantage an offense has

And if the defense eventually stop adjusting to an offset line assuming that they'll
Shift back then you just run to the offset side with an extra blocker

It also give you a numbers advantage at the point of attack if the defense does not adjust. And, as stated above, hesitation by defense, confusion, mixed reads. Then add in the jet motion... Lots to think about in a short time.
