Question, what are you ppl looking for in our next coach????

I get the sense many of y'all are unrealistic with unrealistic expectations! No coachis going to win every game!
I want LSU to be very competitive year in and year out. I don't expect NCs every year. Ill settle for being in the NC, or winning it every 4-5 year.
I want our coach to lock up the State of Louisiana in recruiting and cherry pick players from across the USA.
I want our players to represent theirselves, their family, and LSU well!
That what I want in our next coach!
I want LSU to be very competitive year in and year out. I don't expect NCs every year. Ill settle for being in the NC, or winning it every 4-5 year.

What the frick are you taking about?
1 of those things is a result not a quality and another thing is something you are looking for in players.
So you want a coach that can recruit? What else? Any other attributes someone we are going to pay millions to should have?

Someone that has original vision. And simply not regurgitating stuff he learned from Pete Carroll. I heard audio where he was literally saying one team one heartbeat when he was working for USC. Those themed practices are all Pete Carroll. He even said so in a radio interview. From a head coaching perspective it just seems like straight Amateur hour. Yes every coach borrows from coaches that have influenced them, but it seems in this case it's more of trying to recreate the exact same thing at the exact same way

First off, that was in no way a question. It was a statement, then you saying what you want in a coach.

I'm good with replicating the first half of Miles' tenure but with flexibility, adaptability, and creativity.
I want to always be in the hunt. I miss those stakes.

You sound like this woman that sits near us at games. Every week it is something like this,
"I just want someone to represent this school and LSU well!"
"Can't win every game but it sure is fun coming and cheering on the Tigers!"

1. A coach that can recruit...hard to win if you don't have talent
2. A coach that can motivate his players
3. A coach that will make good use of the checkbook LSU offers and hire great assistants.
4. Will allow those coaches to coach without being a micro manager...if the coach isn't working get another one.
5. A good ambassador for LSU
