Criteria for hiring the LSU Head coach:
1. Familiar with Recruiting landscape (Texas, Louisiana, the south region)
2. Familiar with SEC
3. Big 5 Head Coaching experience and has great success
4. High Energy, motivated
5. Relatively young...
6. Is a good recruiter
7. Can develop QB and is offensive minded
8. Makes good decisions running a program
9. Hires good assistants...
What else should be included?
1. Graduation rates?
2. Discipline
3. Develops talent?

Who else fits most of these criteria?

There should be no committee. If they don't have one of the top 3 already locked up, then keep Miles. It's really that simple.
