Yeah, the Hog fans are delirious about it, but I reminded them that although Bobby has a temper it is said that Paul's is much worse and that few will hire him because of it. Paul may be a good coach, but Bobby is taking care of him. Didn't I just see this at Arkansas with the coach they fired ?

Deja vu all over again. If this coaching tandem goes south in a hurry all hell will break loose again. The hogs fans have been promised, basically, a national title by Putrid-no. Where I have we heard this before? Fool the fans once, shame on them. Fool them twice, it ain't gonna be nice.

Why are you banging your head, then? As an LSU fan, the meltdown up there will be mighty enjoyable. Kind of like watching Bama Nation.

Because of the Tiger fans that live up here will have to listen to 2 or 3 more years of what we have listened to for the last two years. The media up here knows no controversy or objectivity in their reporting. It's the "we are the world" type crap that is force fed to the public.

I lurk on Hogville quite a bit and its posters are a hell of a lot more "on the money" about the pulse of the razorback nation as opposed to the media. Hogville's persistance about the Nutt debacle led to his demise, imo, and rightfully so. At the beginning of this past football season Frank and his cronies were saying the darksiders only numbered 5% of the fan base, Five months later Nutt is gone. The media put the crap going on off as long as they could. After living here for 24 years it has not been easy avoiding the brainwashing that is imposed on you.

Are they a little envious of LSU up there?

In my biased opinion, I sure hope to hell so!

Not really -- most fans like you guys.... or at least the ones I hang out with.

All it comes down to -- Nutt may have been a good coach, but the off-season was too much. The relationship with the fans was irreparable. Change was needed and that's what we got. Finally we shoot for the top.

And whether you agree with the way they did it or what Petrino did, Arkansas did what it had to do... and for once, we didn't settle for less.

I am sure that the Petrino brothers have a little more honesty and integrity than the Nutt boys. Just look at the job he did calling Louisville's offense. I will take him in a heartbeat.

I will never be envious to LSU. You guys are a great SEC program. The level of competition just got better with the addition of Petrino to the Hogs. I sure hope you guys have learned how to pronounce Arkansas. When Miles said Ar Kansas it produced a lot of bulletin board material. Thank you Les for motivating the Hogs.

DC, you are so diplomatic and tactful with your answers most times. I see you going a long way in AR politics if you so desired. I'll be the first to vote for you in the gov's race if you will throw your hat in the ring in the next election.

flatfoot, it is us who want to thank you for not beating us in regulation time. It was a selling point in Les's case in why we should be playing for the national championship. Oh yeah, no need to thank us for helping to get rid of Nutt and his posse for your win. His last game as a hog just helped him put the icing on his cake, and the money in his bank.

That's bulletin board material. The man is from up north... Give him a break. I'm kind of glad he did, sounds better than calling it Arky.. Anyways, Petrino will be gone in a heartbeat to.
