There's absolutely no chance Saban signs for meddling owner like Jerry. There is no possibility he goes to Dallas. Now, Detroit....

I share similar concerns.....but America's team is the premier NFL franchise. Jones is a HUGE meddler...I think it's a deal breaker too.

I think the LIONS would love Saban....but Detroit is bankrupt city...I don't see Saban going there.

Why not? There's tons of real estate for Saban to invest in all in and around Detroit

Btw saban-oil Jones-water. Would not mix.

Feels like it's been a lot longer than that since 38-17.

Nerp

He's turned down Dallas before

There are only 2 HC jobs in the NFL I'd be seriously worried about him taking, NY Gmen if Coughlin retires or Pats if Belichick retires, both those schools have a QB already supplanted and he learned a very valuable lesson about winning without a QB in the NFL (you can't lol)

Does it bother LSU fans that your coach is never mentioned in legitimate high profile jobs?

I can at the misuse of the word supplanted.

Outside of the city, the Detroit job is a ridiculously great situation for Saban. Top level QB, WR, and DL talent. Team on the cusp, so it would be a great fit for him if he ever wants to go back to the pros. I doubt he does though.

You mean an established QB that Saban didn't have to choose. We all know how it turns out when Saban chooses a QB, i.e. Drew Brees

he didn't skip on Brees...Brees was off the table, Miami Dolphins wouldn't clear him to sign

He wanted Brees, settled for Culpepper and the rest as they say is history

I don't know if Saban would be a good NFL coach. I mean look what happened the first time around. I believe he's good at recruiting and stacking a football team with talent, and you can't stack a team in the NFL.

Work under Jerry Jones?

Chances of him going to Austin are far greater.
