its amazing there aren't more but the only ones i see are:

Terry Robiskie (LSU RB 73-76)
Lionel Washington (born in NO, played at tulane)
Karl Dunbar (LSU DL 86-89)
Jim Skipper (born in Breaux Bridge)

i kind of like robiskie, he was a running back at LSU and it would be great to see what he can do with williams, scott, and murphy.

dunbar might be good too.

a couple non-LSU guys that i think would be good are mike singletary, and a name nobody is mentioning, Mike Tice.

I wouldn't like any of those guys (for HC), although I must admit I don't know who Washington is.

You're giving Tice waaaaay too much credit there. At least Callahan made it to the Super Bowl. Tice didn't do shite as Vikings head coach.

Well he did manage to run off both Randy Moss and Daunte Culpepper, the only two players on the team that were worth a shite at the time.

He not only coached LSU for 4 years (all bowls) but played for LSU.

And he now coaches with the Patriots.

I like Greg Blache, former DC for the Bears, DC (in name only though)/ DL coach (in reality) for the Skins. NO native, fiery guy, has college exp. Interviewed a couple times for the 49ers gig that Erickson got. Put together that attacking style the Bears had. Also Crowton was on that Bears staff so he could maybe keep him around. But who knows.

Mike Nolan was @ LSU in the mid 80's, not an assistant, but does not have very good job security right now.

Nolan wouldn't be a bad choice. Successful DC in the NFL, unsuccessful HC in the NFL. Sounds a lot like Arnsparger who he coached under while at LSU.
