Let's make some more profound internet claims that, because of the beauty of the internet, a person can choose not to substantiate or corroborate. Former player with conference championship rings, NFL veteran, etc., etc.

Fans with "keep it in the family" mentality are bound to travel down the same road as Bammers. What do Bama fans and a maggot have in common? They both can live off a dead bear for 20 years.

Paul Johnson has exponentially greater experience and an exponentially greater resume than do either Gill or Pelini. Am I saying Gill and Pelini are bad coaches? No.

However, Paul Johnson would be a better fit, with better experience, better knowledge and a proven record of turning programs into STRONG, consistently winning programs. He'd get Nebraska back to being the most physical team in the Big 12, on both offense and defense, and have them playing for the Big 12 championship regularly, not just the defacto Big 12 North title once every 4 years. But hey, what do I know? I just went to school at LSU and therefore just an ignorant LSU fan, born in Nebraska and raised a Husker fan and still am, to a degree.
