Not sure how I see it. Just not sure if it’s the right match. But who knows.
Oh and it being a big deal nationally. Well duh. Remember ND is a media darling. So snagging their coach is a big deal.
But why are LSU fans so pumped about a guy that only sec team he could be in the past 15 years is Vandy and LSU lol.

The fallacy with those "expectations" is that many on the board think Lane Kiffin is a better coach than Kelly, which is ridiculous. People just want flash and pop, but this program needs smarts and stability and someone who can fully rebuild in all the right areas. I think Kelly can do that. If he keeps the right people on staff, he'll recruit lights out too. I also hear that he prefers to interview for coordinator positions before hiring.

The national press is not a great reference but I think this is a major upgrade for LSU athletics and more good things than bad will come from it.
