If you want Coach O then you think that we aren't good enough of a program to attract Big Fish to come and coach at LSU. PEOPLE we are settling if we hire Coach O, this is a make or break hire for LSU as a program.

Do you really want Coach O at the helm?

Hell no

Ohhh but he's Cajun!!! No one gives af, I was born in BR and I don't talk or act like a "Cajun" put it to rest damn

You don't seem very intelligent if you don't know why I'm wearing that badge of honor

It will probably take care of itself tomorrow night. Arkansas always plays them tuff, and it's coming off a high emotional game vs bama, plus it's on the road.

Honestly I don't think O was ever going to be given a legitimate opportunity to be coach.

To his credit he did more to energize the fans as well as the team in a month than Les did in a decade and it really made people excited to see him as coach. Smoke and mirrors can only carry you so far tho

I agree, I was intrigued with CEO at first but watching last week reminded me of why we got rid of LM in the first place. I think we would see more of the same next year if given the reigns to the team.

you act like youre standing up to the masses and taking some brave stance. i would guess maybe 5 percent of the people here, at the very most, have O as their first choice, so im not sure who youre talking to.

wow you sure tore that strawman a new one!

and yes. youre right. no one gives a frick. no one cares if hes cajun, no one cares where you were born. youve already claimed sources saying Orgeron has no chance, so whats the problem?

The mandate for hiring a new Head Coach was to find one with significant head coaching experience, and a proven offensive philosophy. Unfortunately CEO has neither of these capabilities. Although he is a wonderful cajun from Louisiana and enjoys cajun cuisine, it should have no bearing on who is selected to coach LSU next season. Hopefully, he will remain in the capacity of Recruiting Coordinator and Defensive Line Coach. College Football is big business, and selecting a new coach should involve utilization of sound business practices , rather than a popularity contest.

HOPEFULLY, LSU WILL STICK WITH THE PLAN TO FIND THE BEST MAN.
