I know this is the 100th thread started stating that Miles was either staying or leaving and I also realize that I am only a long time lurker who has never posted, so I realize that no one will take this for much and if I were in your position I would not either BUT I just spoke to someone intimately close to the situation and they said that Miles is not leaving. been there done that,saban tried butch davis tried, mack brown tried doubt he would go back to ut for dooley , now if the titans called that would a different story

In response to why Moffit would interview with Tennessee:
1) His wife's entire family is from there
2) He and Dooley are great friends
3) Probably would have been there last year but he was dealing with his prostate cancer when Dooley was hired last year
Tennessee is the only place he would leave LSU for, so if he does not leave you could beat the bank on it that he will retire here.

I can see this for several reasons and none of it has to do with Miles. The Vols lost their S&C coach to Texas so they need to hire someone. Moffitt can go up there, get some free food and cocktails, then use it as leverage for a pay raise out of LSU. I would go talk to them. It would be about like a free vacation with the red carpet rolled out.

Just because someone was born/raised in one town does not limit their family from moving to other places...Not going to defend this any further, I have been told what I have been told, take it or leave it.
