I bet leach would mix the run game in a lot more if he knew he had the horses we have at tailback

He has never shown that propensity in the past.. his entire offense is suited for small quick WR and small quick pass catching RBs. The run plays are the draw and bubble and tunnel screens. The power running game has never been a component of his offense.. so much so that the only snaps under center a QB would take all season were in the victory formation.

I know that Les is a better coach than you (GerryDinardo). Leach has been talked about for a month now because Belowpar said Les was interested in Leach as OC. Also as stated before Leach has evolved his team according to his personnel as well as Les and Mike are good friends. I can't see why friends can't work together.

You are wrong.

At TTU that is basically correct.

Go back and look at the OU or Kentucky versions of the spread, he ran a lot more because he had horses.

Leach became 'known' for the AirRaid because that's what he built at TTU.

And he built that at TTU because the best athletes he could get were those 'small' quick guys who were over looked by The Tea sippers, the Faggies, Sooners and even LSU.

I'm not sure Leach would be the best fit but if Miles thinks he and Mike can work together then I am ALL for it.

Yeah I didn't see Leach.. did you?

I saw TWO teams that didn't worry about scoring in less than 1 minute.

This guy might be the REAL Gerry Dinardo. You were kind of behind the curve offensively back in the mid 90s dude.

He would be a good one.

Not Les's style though.

Brando did say that Leach was talking to OSU about filling their open OC position. I think if OSU could get him interested, LSU could at least get a foot in the door and start talking to him if they so choosed.

Have any of you guys ever thought out of the box? Who knows what he would do if Les would give him a shot to make good on his past and give him a shot at a team that has a legitiment chance at winning the Championship next year. I think it would be unreal and keep us on top of all the sports talk shows and keep the top prospects looking our way on the offensive side of the ball. You guys are crazy if you think otherwise. He could work with any talent that we have for sure.

I think Les would like the scoreboard if Leach were calling the plays on offense.

With the chief running the D in the bend but not break style, causing other teams to eat clock, shite yeah.

What about Crabtree? I could be totally wrong on this but wasn't Leach there when he arrived? If so, so much for needing small quick WR.

Do you really want your offense to have to run the victory formation out of the shotgun because they never run plays from under center?

Well, if we're running the victory offense then the offense has done its job, lol.

Florida, Auburn, Oregon, they've all really been hurt by running that shotgun offense the past couple of years.

Yes, it has been very painful to watch them struggle.
