UH game is over by 3

UT game is over by 7

LSU should not wait around and have its football program held hostage while Herman tries to wait for his "dream" job.

The fact is the LSU job is on much better footing than UT and it should in no way play second fiddle to the likes of the dumpster fire that is in Austin.

Either Herman wants in or he's Tigerbait

Have some pride LSU admins.

Deadline for Herman's answer should be no later than mid-night tonight.

Bottom line is, if Texas doesn't fire Strong today, then Herman is LSU-bound, because the only way they're firing Strong is if they're confident that they're going to land Herman.

We were once orgeron's fallback plan to Tennessee. So he's out too.

LSU is the desperate one in this situation, sorry if you don't realize that.

Not really you hire O, he gets an Offensive coordinator, you continue to reel in top 5 classes and you still win 8-9 games a year.

The days of LSU falling ofnthebmap are OVER no matter the HC.

This board does not realize that. Blind confidence is at Jimbo levels from last year. Herman is in the drivers seat and playing his cards right. He'll be at Texas as the highest paid HC in college by Sunday. Then Alleva will go after Fedora while also pissing off Coach O and he will leave too.

Herman knows he doesn't have to decide until FSU is done.

You realize the only people reporting his UT interest are people with no sources right? As far as i can tell he has never once commented on his future career path. Speculation and opinion is what is driving this UT talk.

Has it ever been shown where Herman himself said that Texas was his dream job? And this is an honest question due to always hearing if floated around.

Herman is in the driver's seat, but some of you are giving the UT administration and boosters FAR more credit the they deserve after the last three years of complete ineptitude. What makes all of you think they won't frick this up like everything else?

Or what? LSU moves on to the next Hall of Fame coach that's begging to come to Baton Rouge?

The best thing Alleva can do at this point is hire the best coach possible for the job. The worst thing he could do is ruin his chances by taking childish stances on "pride".

Try thinking it through before starting another thread.

The only reasoning I can tell is that he was a grad asst once upon a time there.

You're correct, except that Alleva will return to Jimbo, which is who LSU really wants.

Yep, just check out the downvotes. Herman can do 1 of 3 things right off hand, accept his dream job(assuming they fire strong), wait out his dream job and get a huge raise with Houston, or take the LSU job. The guy is a hot commodity and could coach at mostly any major university.
