I wouldn't have any problem with him. His conference record is 20-4. While I don't know who he has lost to, I do know that Sun Belt teams tend to pick up a lot of losses out of conference.

Most schools don't have very many recruits "signed" in December. But yes, recruiting is nonexistent right now.
