Let's Assume Jimbo is off the Table: (Tom Hermann)

Not saying he is, not saying he's not.
What are our options outside of that?
I've heard Tom Hermann, the other Harbaugh, and, hell, even Spurrier....
I'll start with Hermann:
Many say he's an offensive mind, seeing as he has turned Houston into a practical offense powerhouse in a little amount of time.
It seems as though he's very highly regarded.
He won the award for the being the top assistant coach when he was the offensive coordinator/QB coach under Meyer at OSU.
Many on OSU's message boards are saying his loss is the reason their offense has been so stagnant this year (Reference Ezekial's recent comments).
Why wouldn't we be gunning for him? He's very young, tenacious, etc.
We're going after Jimbo supposedly because he's so great with quarterbacks. (I agree with this)
But, is the massive money buyout worth it when we have this guy Hermann living 5 hours west of us who apparently has the same coaching ability, is very young, and won't cost an arm and leg to get?

I would say Tom Herman should be looked at.
Jimbo is probably not leaving Florida State, but he's worth a shot.
After that, who's a better fit than Les?
I'm open for suggestions, but I haven't liked many.

I do not like Chip Kelly.
The last thing we need is another close-minded coach.

As a Mensa member, he would be smarter than almost any other coach.

Huh?
Are you saying its a better hire simply because he's younger a mind a better value than Fisher?
If you want Fisher you go get Fisher. If you want Fisher and you don't get him, this entire goat frick was a disastrous money making, PR nightmare
You don't pass on Fisher because there are better values. You may TRY to use it with Sexton to get some negotiating power, but if Fisher is your guy, he knows it and so does Sexton.
If he's not and you're doing all this for Hermann, I'd be fricking embarrassed.

If we can't get Jimbo Fisher, then I want Les Miles.

Word on the street is that Herman hates cajun food. So this probably isn't a good fit for y'all. And by word on the street, I mean, I'm making this up as I go.

If I didn't have someone in hand...and I wanted to land an up and comer that could (if things worked out) stay for years, he'd be the guy.
But, LSU better be quick.

This shite is gonna go down just like the dc search, lots of excitement and in the end...not so much

I'm scared you are right. I had such high hopes for our DC search. When the news of Steele broke I abandoned hope.

I've put a lot of thought in it, Tom Herman gets my vote.
