Whoever the new guy is, he will enjoy one of the best recruiting areas in college football.

Louisiana, tucked between Texas and Mississippi with access to Florida/Georgia etc, is one of the best.....as Saban and Miles already proved it.

New guy will be better off than >95% of the other guys out there.

If the players quit on him this year for the arky and ole miss games, who actually wants him to come back next year to "turn everything around"?

It's over. Only thing that keeps him is a bullshite contract. That's on ad and BOS.

That's not how it works. Saban and Miles were actively great recruiters.

Understood. The coach that is hired, if worth his salt in recrutiing( which is one of the requirements of a college coach) will have a fertile recruiting area to work.

We don't know what we are in for....but we know what we are in for now if he stays.

Do you think he even wants to be here? His players didn't even play for him with his back against the wall.

Save your breath. I even saw someone on the rant earlier that said you can sign a top 20 class just by showing up to work at LSU. They have no clue how hard those guys worked to recruit to LSU and how important ties to the area are, not just recruiting prowess.
