Apparently there was some info on a pay site. Its been very quiet all in all today.

nobody said anything about anyone being selected...it was said that VK had the inside track at the job, but it was nothing definitive.

I know it's odd. i went to bed last night thinking it was pretty much a done deal. Koening as D coordinator, with a Ogeron as D Line/recruiting coordinator a strong possibility. Still may be in the works, but not as much smoke today as last night.

I think Miles is just trying to cover all his bases, which he should. I still believe VK probably is the leader for the job, but Miles just wants to make sure he doesn't overlook anyone. He knows how important this hire is to LSU and his coaching life here.
I haven't heard much on O today. I sure do hope they can work things out and get him here.

I'll just be glad when a pick is announced so everyone can start fighting about whether it was right or wrong. The, "Who's it gonna be?" threads are causing me to not look at the rant as much anymore.

More confusing (and I sympathize with you, by the way, I feel the same way) is the report today that Robinson has been contacted. Hell, Miles could have talked to Robinson in mid-November. Chavis and Koenning just became available over the last 72-96 hours. Maybe the information is being released in a certain way, or in a certain order? I don't pretend to understand it.
