***It's going to be a very busy day. Chris Kiffin is confirmed to be gone to Florida Atlantic. Expect more moves to be confirmed today.

This is the part I wasn't sure about. Part of the reason for the thread.

OM looking for a new OC, DC, D-line coach, and soon more. All those searches going on under the cloud of an NCAA investigation and undoubtedly harsh penalties to follow. Not a good look.

Most of the moves are ok. Batoon sucks. Heard was ok but our receivers have struggles with route running. Chris kiffen was a good recruiter but idk that he got the most out of some of our talent. Every coach they are suggesting has had their abilities questioned at some point during their stay.

Phil Longo

dynamic offense that scores tons of points. still have to wonder why he's spent like 15 years in coaching and has always toiled at low levels. Would've expected some other team to have given him a shot by now.

Wes McGriff

Why did he leave in the first place? He landed a couple of big recruits for them last time he was there.

I figured that would happen. Surprised Alabama never tried to bring him on.

Yes he was. And if I'm not mistaken was a frequent offender at Tennessee. What could go wrong in Boca?

sounds dangerous. NCAA will show no mercy to FAU.

Grant Heard leaving Ole Miss too? He's been a good WR coach and a very good recruiter (Treadwell, AJ Brown).

Is this Ole Miss cleaning house or is this coaches bailing out?

Lane is going to go rogue for a couple of years and try to win enough to get out. He hopes the NCAA won't pay attention to little ole FAU.

The assistant coaches have to leave - they don't know if their spots will be secure with new OCs and DCs. Only a couple of assistants on the Ole Miss staff know that they are safe no matter what (Matt Luke - OC, and Derrick Nix - RB).

The others just have to explore other opportunities now or they'll just get fired or have to interview for their own job. Better to take a sure thing than roll the dice.

I mean, that's one way to look at it. Everyone else will assume what I stated above.
