He's a great coach. Would love to have him.

Would be a great hire.

I'm an MT alum and if he's gonna leave, let it be LSU if anywhere.

Many on the Rant think JJ has righted the ship with winning a few games this year.

No they don't. Most people just like to support the team and the coach during the season and let things play out.

I think it will be tough for JJ to make it back next season, but I plan to enjoy this season as much as possible.

If that happens, Kermit would be a great choice.

Agreed.

I would hope true LSU fans want the Tigers to win every game. But, if they don't make the NCAA tourney, the administration should consider a new HC.

From what I've read about Kermit, he should get serious consideration if we do go looking for new leadership.

the hiring process should already be under way, but the same people behind bringing that poor sob here will see that he stays here. basketball doesn't seem unique in having this little ole concern as to unloading deadwood . i also see where scott long thinks GoodOleLess should think about an espn analyst I can only imagine some of the x's & o's of the game per GoodOleLess. would make for some hilarious shite.

Been saying this since they got rid of Brady. He can freakin' coach. Period.

yep

...but please don't let us fall into the trap of thinking we can only hire guys who have a connection to LSU.

Let's get this year's version Chaka Smart.

We should have went after Chaka Smart a long time ago.

I think more like 12-20, 6-10. Still, JJ needs to go after this season. I would like to see JA go first so he has nothing to do with the hire.

If Joe Alleva fires a coach for finishing top 4 in his conference then I would be shocked.
